It has arrived, yes we are talking about iOS 7 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and there are plenty of features just waiting to be explored. In today's post we want to take a look at some of these hidden iOS 7 features that you might not be aware of.
The first of these is that you can use Safari to see tweets with links/URLs in them. This is a great way to quickly see all the tweets in your timeline that have links in them. All you have to do is launch Safari and press the bookmarks button. Next press the @ button on the top and all your tweets will appear. Obviously you have to be signed into your twitter account in your settings for this feature to work.
If you don't like the new thin font size that comes with iOS 7 you can change it. Maybe not that much but you can make it bold. Just go to Settings > General > Accessibility > and enable Bold text. If you want to change the font that is easy too. All you have to do is go to Settings > General > Text size and adjust the font to whatever you like.
If you want to block callers and unwanted messages this new feature is great. Open up the contact you don't want calling you and then just scroll all the way down their details and just tap the block this caller. That's all you have to do. If you want to manage blocked messages, go to Settings > Messages > Blocked.
You can now use Siri to enable or disable system toggles. All you have to do is launch Siri and say Turn on Wi-Fi or whatever it is you want to do. In iOS 7 you can now use swipe gestures to go back one screen. This is a great feature and save having to press the back button on the display.
There are lots more little hidden gems that you will probably come across and you become familiar with iOS 7 but for now these few tips should help you along.
