This same information can be used to try and extrapolate usage data for specific devices across specific demographics. This is how we have been able to get the information that we are reporting on today. Seemingly the iPhone 5c is preferred over the iPhone 5s by women. The data from Facebook was taken by Benedict Evans and he came to the conclusion that the iPhone 5s is the most bought iPhone. This doesn't surprise us considering anyone with a graph to hand has been stating the same thing over the past few months. It got more interesting though when Evans went deeper into the stats. According to him, the iPhone 5c is more popular among women. In fact, twice as many women own iPhone 5c handsets than men. The reason for this is the fact that the iPhone 5c comes in five different color options. The iPhone 5c had previously been claim to something of a flop by some, but with over two million handsets sold in the last three months, it is safe to say that the colorful smartphone isn't really doing as bad as was made out. The iPhone 5c is the cheaper of the two models that were released earlier this year and as mentioned above, it does come in five great color options. Perhaps this is what is encouraging the female population to consider this model over the iPhone 5s, which costs more and only comes in the standard colors that we are used to having the iPhone in. Whatever the reason, women seem to prefer the color choices and we're sure that in Apple's eyes, it really doesn't matter once the device is selling. What do you think? In the latest reports about this new iPhone 5S, it has emerged that Apple could also release this device in a champagne color. The seventh generation iPhone is just like the six releases before it and a guarded secret. This of course hasn't stopped various alleged details from being release around the internet. We first heard of this champagne color rumor back in June and with the black and white line up having grown a little tiresome with some people a little drop of champagne could be just the thing Apple needs to liven things up again. The champagne color rumor has come to light again because a bunch of apparent components for the iPhone 5S were leaked which included the volume buttons and silent/vibrate toggle. The low cost iPhone which is being dubbed the iPhone 5C is due to release in a multitude of colors right from the word go and it would be great to see owners of the flagship model also being offer a little variety. With the cheaper iPhone 5C being offered in five different colors and the iPhone 5S in three different colors, consumers will be spoiled for choice. With big changes coming in iOS 7 and new colors being added to the iPhone line up, it would see that Apple is in a period of transition and we are sure that consumers will be delighted with the new range of choice they are being offered.
